Dr. Olsen is a professor of Epidemiology and Health Promotion at the University of Lynchburg. He also teaches Non-Profit Leadership in the University’s doctoral program. Todd is also a nationally honored and recognized women’s soccer coach, having led the team to a national championship in 2014.

Aside from on-the-field coaching and classroom teaching, Olsen is actively involved with service and study projects both locally and globally. His work has helped serve some of the world’s poorest people with these training sessions.

Locally, Dr. Olsen is co-founder of the Lynchburg Area Youth Sports Initiative (LAYSI.org), which has formed a broad collaborative of local nonprofits to strengthen the body and character of our youth in Greater Lynchburg through sports.

Todd is married with two children and attends Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
