Davina Hunt Bare

Davina has been a board member of the No Walls Ministry since 2023, and assumed the presidency of the ministry in February 2024. She has been a supporter of No Walls Ministry programs and initiatives since 2021. She comes to the board with 26 years of Human Resources (HR) experience. Throughout her military career, and as a business owner, she remains committed to building community.
Davina has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hampton University. She earned a Master of Science in Education from Troy State University. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts in English from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
Davina retired from the United States Army in 2017 as a Lieutenant Colonel after twenty years of honorable service. Her military assignments encompassed broadening and operational experiences to include deployments to Bosnia and Afghanistan.
Davina is married to Danny Bare. They have six children: Lee (29), Erin (28), Tyler (26), Jenna (23), Devin (22), and Dasha (17) plus four grandchildren. Her life is full.
Davina and Danny live out their God-given assignments to offer affordable luxury housing options in Lynchburg, Virginia. As the steward of DBHomes4Hope LLC, she coaches clients to overcome roadblocks to homeownership like credit restoration, down payment savings, and living on a budget while building generational wealth.
